Will this Liberty medical card cover me worldwide?

Yes, this Liberty medical card is effective worldwide for 24 hours a day, up to 90 days from the day you leave Malaysia. 

The benefits you stand to receive will be subjected to reasonable and customary charges on the basis that the cost for the said treatment would be reasonably charged by a Hospital or Physician back home in Malaysia.

Who can buy this medical card from Liberty Insurance?

A 30-day-old newborn child with a maximum of 60 years old can be protected with this insurance plan. Get guaranteed renewal up until you reach the age of 70!

What are the highlights of this Liberty MediStar?

Long queue lines are hard to tolerate, especially in government hospitals, but with a Liberty MediStar medical card, you will be prioritised and get immediate hospital admission without paying any deposit or upfront fee at all. Only upon discharge, you will have to settle all excess charges, if any. 

You will be entitled to an even more discount on the premium if there's no claim made for at least 2 consecutive years.

Are there any fees or charges that I have to pay?

Your total premium will be inclusive of 15% of the premium for insurance agent commission, RM10 stamp duty, and last but not least, the Service Tax as set by the Government.

What should I do if I want to cancel my Liberty MediStar policy?

Your Liberty MediStar Medical Card policy can be cancelled by giving a 30-day notice to Liberty Insurance in writing.

If you have just received your medical insurance policy, the premium paid less the deduction of the medical fee incurred will be refunded to you by delivering the policy back to them within 15 days.
