Tell me about the Standard Chartered CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan.

Looking for a solution to your financial woes? Well, you are on the right track when you sign up for the Standard Chartered CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan.

This unsecured personal loan offers as low as 7.80% interest rate per annum and a high borrowing amount to meet your debt consolidation needs.

The best part about this special feature is that every time you make your monthly repayment, the paid principal amount will be converted into a credit card limit so that you have extra money to spend.

Existing customers will get up to 84 months of tenure while new customers will get up to 60 months of tenure.

How does this debt consolidation plan work?

First, you need to apply for the Standard Chartered CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan, which you can do here at RinggitPlus.

Note that you can consolidate up to five unsecured outstanding credits from other banks. Choose your preferred borrowing amount and your repayment period.

Once Standard Chartered has approved your loan application, you can cut the trouble of settling all loans on your own as the bank will perform the payments on your behalf.

Please also note that you must apply for a loan amount that is RM5,000 higher than your loan settlement amounts.

For example, if your total loan settlement amount is RM20,000, you will need to take a loan of RM25,000 or more.

How fast can I get my money after applying for this debt consolidation plan?

Standard Chartered may take a few business days to process your application.

Once the personal loan application has been approved, the cash will be transferred to your Standard Chartered CashOne Savings Account.

What are the fees for the CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan?

Applying for a CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan is easy and affordable as there are no Stamp Duty and Processing Fees once your loan application is approved.

You can also settle your debt consolidation loan anytime before the agreement ends as there is no penalty for early termination of the loan agreement.

Do I get penalised for being late on my CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan payment?

Being late on your monthly instalment payment is not advisable when you are committing to a loan as you will incur unnecessary charges on your outstanding balance.

Any default in payment shall be subjected to additional interest at the rate of 1% per annum, calculated on daily rest.

What documents do I need to prepare for the CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan application?

Am I qualified to apply for the Standard Chartered CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan if I'm blacklisted?

Depending on your credit history with other financial institutions, all this information (outstanding credit card, personal loan, home loan or car loan debts) will be captured in CCRIS/ CTOS (a system that collects credit information on borrowers, not blacklisting them).

Assuming you have poor credit standing due to irregular payments, the best course would be to break the habit and start making your payments on time to avoid future hurdles.

Standard Chartered is more likely to approve your Standard Chartered CashOne Debt Consolidation Plan application if you can show that you are managing your finances, rather than accumulating more debt.
